The Griffins are set for one home game and one road game this week. They face Frontier Conference opponent Carroll on Tuesday, October 7 at Dumke Field. Then they travel to Cedar City, Utah to battle NCAA DI opponent Southern Utah on October 11.
Westminster is winless in the last four games, but they did get a 2-2 tie at Oregon Tech the last time out. They enter the week at 5-6-1 overall and are 0-1-0 in the Frontier Conference.
The Westminster offense is led by Jen Pirente and her 13 points. She has scored five goals, but none in five games. Maddie Spere has 10 points, scoring four goals. Dayna Winter-Nolte has played well in the Griffins net, posting a 1.55 goals against average.
Carroll comes into this week at 5-4-0 overall and 1-0-0 in the conference. They claimed a 3-2 win over Rocky Mountain College on September 21 to open the conference campaign. Meghan O’Connell leads the Saints with four goals while Hannah Young and O’Connell each have a team-best two assists.
Southern Utah sits a 3-7-0 on the season, but are 3-3-0 at home. They are led by four goals from Stacey Brinkman and three more from Shaley Ipson-Allen. Sutton Fox has recorded a 1.98 goals against average in seven games played.
