Introduction

Welcome to the Westminster College student employment program. The employment of students has proven to be a beneficial program for both Westminster College and for the students who work on campus. Westminster College hires hundreds of students each year to work in a variety of different offices and departments. The Student Employment Handbook will explain how the program works and outline employment procedures and policies.

Westminster College operates two distinct employment programs: Federal Work Study and Student Employment.  To find out if you qualify for the Federal Work Study Program please contact the Financial Aid Office at (801) 832-2500
.  Federal Work Study will be given priority for campus job openings.

The employment of students has proven to be a beneficial program for both Westminster College and for the students who work on campus. Each year Westminster College employs over 550 students and invests over $1.6 million for on campus student jobs. Student employment provides students an opportunity to get connected on campus and work with faculty, staff and other students. It's a great way to earn a paycheck that can be used for tuition, books or pizza!  Some of the typical jobs and/or departments where students work are listed below:
