PIN - President's Innovation Network

The President's Innovation Network is a venture fund to support the continuing renaissance of Westminster College, its innovative initiatives and its quest to become a community of learners worthy of national recognition.

Over the last four years, Westminster has developed a new and compelling educational vision grounded in the core values and strengths of the college, yet responsive to the opportunities and challenges of a rapidly changing world.

This vision, articulated in a ten-year strategic plan, promises to strengthen the college's capacity to have a profound impact on students by the following:

• Focusing on learning goals critical to the success of our graduates and ensuring that they meet these goals prior to graduation
• Designing distinctive programs that foster active and engaged learning
• Building an environment that is rich with diverse ideas, perspectives, cultures, and people
• Expanding opportunities for student learning by using the varied resources of the local environment
• Promoting continuous improvement, effectiveness, and value

The implementation of the strategic plan is expected to be a decade-long process involving innovation and change in almost every facet of the college. The result will be an already healthy and well respected institution elevated by the best ideas about how to strengthen American higher education. The result will be an even more vital enterprise, nationally recognized as an exemplary community of learners.

The President's Innovation Network consists of alumni and friends of the college who want to invest in Utah's only private, comprehensive liberal arts college as it breaks new ground for its students and for American higher education.
