Reserve a Space
The Giovale Library has several rooms available for use by Westminster students, faculty, and staff.
The rooms can be used for many things such as quiet study, group projects, meetings, viewing audio
visual materials, or taking a break to play games on the Nintendo Wii. Many of the rooms are
equipped with whiteboards, all have network access for plugging in laptops, and several have
media combination carts for viewing audio visual materials. In addition to rooms, the Giovale Library
also has sixteen group workstations which can be reserved in advanced for group projects.
Guidelines for Room and Group Workstation Scheduling
- Reservations can be made in person at the Circulation Desk
on the main level of the library, or by calling (801) 832-2250.
- The rooms and group workstations are available on a first come, first serve basis.
- Groups have precedence over single users.
- The rooms and group workstations should be scheduled at least two hours in advance, when possible.
- Rooms and group workstations will not be reserved for longer than a three hour time period, though if no one is
waiting for use of the room or workstation, continued use for a longer period of time may be accommodated.
- Rooms and group workstations can be reserved no earlier than two weeks in advance, and for no more than two
recurring days and times.
